The Papp Károly office building will be located in Budapest’s rapidly developing 13th district. Up until the 1980s, this district had one of the largest industrial areas of the city. As a result of its two main factors the district has been the center of rapid development and growth. The one is the excellent location within the city, and the other has been the end of the socialist, heavy industry based economic structure of the country. The closing and tearing down of the old factories has left large plots available in a well developed part of the city with easy access to public transportation. The construction of the third metro line in Budapest had a major effect on the development of the district even before the fall of communism.
